History

Wallace & Carey is a family-owned business that started in Calgary, Alberta in 1921 with one truck and eight employees.

Since then the company has grown into one of Canada’s largest independent distributors serving customers from coast to coast, using seven modern distribution centres, a fleet of more than 40 trucks and 500 employees.

A leader in the industry, Wallace & Carey is a proud Canadian company, which continually strives to better serve its customers, wherever they are located. With its alliance partner in Quebec, J.P. Beaudry, Wallace & Carey has coast to coast abilities.

The partnership with J.P. Beaudry has continued to grow over the years, and has become a truly coast to coast distribution alternative. The partnership’s foundation has been built on the convenience, gas and entertainment customers’ need for a one stop shop. This includes one contact person, one ordering system, and one reporting system, which provides a seamless and time efficient operation.

Our common system streamlines ordering, invoicing, payment, reporting and product offerings. Other than a J.P. Beaudry or supplier uniformed driver and delivery truck, our system is completely seamless and has a tremendous time-saving benefit for customers. It also provides consistent and timely reporting, promotional information, pricing, and new product launch details.
